Projects


The following Projects are being planned or are currently under way:

  1. Building Office Building of OHIEM and Open Heaven International School of Ministry. Click to see picture.
  2. Distributing the "Passport to Heaven" booklet to 40,000 Ethiopian university students by 2001. This project started in 1998. So far over 5,000 booklets have be distributed in Ethiopia, Australia, and in parts of North America.
  3. Writing and publishing of books in English, Amahric (the official Ethiopian language) and other languages.
  4. Weekly radio ministry in Finland, Germany, and Kenya.
  5. TV ministry in Germany currently we are on 3 hours per week in Frankfort Germany.
  6. Upgrading OHIEM audio and video ministry.
  7. Development of Worship Ministry.

Needs: For the year 2001

1. Upgrading the audio/video ministry

  • Video mixer "Videonices MX-1" Pal
  • Two digital video cameras (PAL system)
  • SVHS studio grade video recorder
  • Audio duplicator
  • Salary for 4 persons ($65 per person/month)

2. Printing 40,000 "Passport to Heaven" booklets.

  • $8,000 (USD) or 0.20¢ per booklet. (98 pages, passport size)

3. To conduct crusades for the year 1993 E.C. (Feb., March and July 2001) in Deredawa, Assela, Dilla, Kibremengist, Mekelle, Gimbi, Metu and Hossaena

  • We need 45,000 Ethiopian Birr or $5,400 USD for these crusades

4. Worship Ministry

  • One Yamaha PSR-8000 Keyboard, one lead guitar and one base guitar
  • Salary for four ministers ($65 per person/month)

5. Customs duties for importing equipment

  • Sound systems, Video and Audio equipment, office equipment and car 40,000 Et.birr or $4,820
